If you love mountain biking, you'll recognise it straight away: this is a place made to be explored on two wheels. At Camping Arizona in Salsomaggiore Terme, you're surrounded by a landscape that invites you to get in the saddle: dirt roads, natural trails, and routes winding through woodland and open views of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

Here, the bike isn't just part of the holiday. It becomes the holiday.

On-Site Bike Park: technique before the trails

Before heading into the hills, it's time to build your skills. At the campsite, you'll find a 3-km MTB track developed in collaboration with experts from the Italian Mountain Bike Federation. Set on natural terrain, it's designed to help you improve balance, control, and bike handling, while remaining accessible to everyone, from first-time riders to experienced cyclists looking to train regularly.

The indoor track offers:

Trails through the hills and the Apennines

Once out of the campsite, the ride really begins. The surrounding trails wind through hilly areas with elevation gains ranging from 200 to 600 meters, suitable for riders of all skill levels. Routes range from an average of about 10 km to longer trips, for those who want to turn their ride into a true exploration.

Services for cyclists

At Camping Arizona, you’ll find a bike-rental service, allowing you to explore the area even without your own equipment. Should you need technical assistance, there’s a trusted mechanic located about 3 km from the property.
Throughout the season, the area hosts MTB events, rides, and races, some of which are held in the campsite park. Guided activities are currently being developed.
